John Lennon Bus on LSU Campus; Free Shwag
The John Lennon Bus is a non-profit educational bus that travels the country. Ten months out of the year, the team of three is on the road going to various campus and community organizations to educate through music. Through the generous support of companies such as Apple, Sony, and Maxell, the bus helps kids realize their music potential.
This week, the bus is on campus. Today, in front of the Union, you can go to the bus to get a free t-shirt from Apple and miscellaneous free electronics from Maxell and take a tour of the bus. It’s absolutely incredible inside and the exact type of opportunity I’d want if I were at all musically inclined. It’s definitely a worthwhile stop if you’re on campus (if nothing else for the free shirt, I mean, it’s Apple and American Apparel, what more could you ask for?).
Tomorrow, the three on-board producers are working with a digital media class at LSU to create, shoot and produce a live music video in a one eight-hour session.
You can learn more about the bus by visiting their website.
