Missed tackles, missed assignments, poor judgement, etc. plagued the defense and gave up yards to a team that was near last in rushing in 2008. There needs to be immediate improvement on the defensive side of the ball if LSU expects to contend for another SEC West title this year. Alabama looked professional against a nationally ranked team. Smart, saavy play and a punishing defense were displayed in Atlanta yesterday. LSU could learn a lot from the Tide films! This is not the LSU defense we have come to expect here in Baton Rouge.
